WASHINGTON, D.C.
More than 35 industry trade associations committed to addressing both long- and short-term supply chain challenges and weaknesses made apparent by the COVID-19 pandemic

Today, Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) announced the launch of the Critical Infrastructure Supply Chain Council (CISCC) alongside more than 35 diverse industry trade associations. Under the leadership of the Consumer Brands Association (CBA), CISCC will seek to advance uniform, national policies that strengthen the country’s supply chains, and ensure the timely flow of critical goods.

“Maintaining a safe and secure supply chain is critical for both public safety and the country’s economy at large,” said WSWA SVP of Government Affairs and CISSC Executive Committee member Dawson Hobbs.  “Our members are the critical link in the alcohol supply chain and our participation in the Critical Infrastructure Supply Chain Council will help ensure that the nation and our industry are prepared for any challenge that we face.  We are grateful to The Consumer Brands Association for leading CISCC and giving us the opportunity to participate.”
